The Isle of Arran, off the west coast of Scotland, has some wonderful geological features particularly on the coast. The weather on my visit was wet with a few breaks in the clouds now and again. Favourite places were the rocks around the coast at Corrie, and the coast at Kildonan. For golfers the Shiskine course is a must.
